Buying luxury fakes from Aliexpress

Hi hi!

I talked about my newfound interest in luxury brands, especially Chanel, in my latest boom post. And as you also know, I am a cheap b!tch! So how did I handle this new boom...? By buying fakes, of course~

So obviously, if you have a problem with fakes, this isn't the post for you. But if you're interested in my experience shopping for fakes on Aliexpress, please read on!

Before I get to the details of what I bought, I'll talk a little bit about the shopping experience itself. It was a bit of a gamble as the whole process is a little bit...shady.  As can be expected!

I was actually recommended the fake LV wallet from my suggested items list, which is how I found it, but when I clicked on the item, the photo completely changed. You have to actually scroll down to the item description to see all of the different designs that are being sold, with photos. Almost always, the logos are hidden or blurred out. Be careful that it's actually the one you want!

Here are some examples of what I'm talking about.

There are fakes that range from the ~$3 price point to $100 and up.
I'm guessing that you get the quality of what you pay for, but since there are almost no reviews for this kind of shop and no customer photos - which I'll touch on further in a bit - it's a complete gamble.

Also, keep in mind that these shops can be up one day and then shut down the next. I had a Chanel necklace on my wishlist originally, but when I went to buy it the shop had disappeared. Both of the shops that I purchased from have also been shut down since I bought from them. But a new shop always crops up in its place!

All that being said, I can understand why people wouldn't feel comfortable ordering fakes via this method, especially when a shop doesn't have many reviews or has shady photos. But I felt comfortable gambling $20 just to see how it would go! When the LV wallet went so well, I felt confident enough to order the earrings as well.

How about the items themselves? Well, when they got here I was shocked...

The box was super nice and even came with a little pouch! It also has "authentication" papers, which  I can't comment on the quality of in comparison because I've never owned legit LV, but... I was surprised!

They put a lot of detail into the packaging. It was a pleasant surprise considering I had no idea what was going to show up at my doorstep, having only paid $20. So how about the wallet itself...?

Here it is! It doesn't look bad, right? The quality is fine - it's not like it's falling apart, and there are no obvious misprints/flaws on the exterior. So I was quite pleased and quite excited to see what it looked like inside.

Aaaand here we go! A bunch of glue strings that definitely wouldn't exist with legit LV. But I could pick them off and the rest of the interior was just fine!

I went on YouTube and learned a bit about how to distinguish LV fakes and then could spot the hallmarks like the slightly messy stitching and the "made in France" - apparently real LV will have Spain (or maybe Italy?) as their country of origin!

Overall, I just got this as a kind of test and as an accessory for the Kogal co*de that I'm planning. Could someone tell it's fake from a glance? Probably. But would I buy it again? For $20, definitely!  And the pink color is so cute!

Next are my fake Chanel earrings! I was less impressed with the packaging of these. They just came in a plastic bag that said "Chanel" with marker writing on them. Also, the seller was super insistent that I didn't show the picture of the item in my feedback lol. I think that's because the shop will get shut down if they're busted selling fakes.

But the quality of the earrings themselves aren't bad! They're cute. I don't think I would wear them anywhere that people who could instantly tell they're fakes would be likely to frequent. But for Insta posts and casual gatherings, etc. I will definitely wear them!

It makes me want to get more considering how cheap they are, hehe. Getting a fake Chanel bag is also on my list, but I have to do a lot more research because I don't feel like gambling anywhere between $100 to several hundred dollars!

What do you think? Are you interested in buying fakes? Have you ever done so in the past?
Let me know in the comments below!
I like doing this kind of thing and being able to share my findings with you~

Gyaru Crafting Challenge: Nails

 Hi!

I completed another day of Rae's crafting challenge~

I wanted to make a simple, classy nail so I could film some YouTube videos! It's been a while for me to wear nails; I have a bruise on my index finger's nail and I'm waiting for it to heal.

These are somewhat inspired by the 'glass French nail' that are popular, but I don't have the right supplies to do it properly. I tried it before but it didn't work out. I really like this glitter version, though! Of course I went with the Rady-inspired lavender color that I've been loving! My toes are this shade as well right now.

I also did a little DIY on one of my Shein bikinis! I found a gem embellishment in my crafting supplies and I thought it would be perfect for jazzing up my bikini top and making it more Rady-ish <3

The final product!

But I'm not counting this as part of the crafting challenge, because I have a DIY idea and I'm just waiting to get all the supplies!

Sorry I haven't been blogging much lately - I haven't been feeling the greatest :( But I promise I'll talk again soon!

Gyaru Crafting Challenge: Beach Jewelry

 Hiiii

No deco this time because I'm on my phone!

How are you? I'm not feeling amazing tonight - a bit of a headache, kind of moody, my legs hurt and I'm craving sweets like crazy

To distract myself, I decided to do some crafts and finally got around to day 2 of Rae's crafting challenge: beach themed jewelry! (For my first day click here) I recently bought a ton of crafting supplies from Aliexpress, including plumeria beads and wooden beads~ I made some beachy jewelry just before the crafting challenge was announced and I made some more tonight!

I think the flowers pair nicely with the pearls as well~

Which one is your favorite?

Until next time,

Gyaru One Week Co*de Challenge

 Hi hi~

The lovely Natsumin did a co*de challenge a few weeks back and I know I'm super late to the party, but I've been meaning to take part! I didn't have many co*de pics so I had to get dressed up for these even though I usually spend Monday-Friday in Pajamas, old t-shirts and slippers. The work from home life...

So if you'll forgive me for being a few weeks late, here we go!

Monday: A coord that makes you feel comfy

To me, comfy means baggy and loose clothing. I usually treat Saturday or Sunday (sometimes both) as my "cheat" day and eat (and drink) a lot which means I need something that isn't tight. I'm also the kind of person who wears blankets even in the summer, so a comfy coord needs to keep me warm.  Also, Mondays suck and I just want to feel super cozy to make it better!

Hangover who?

I chose my Rady dupe hoodie dress from my recent Shein haul! Slides are a must for comfy days, they're my absolute favorite this summer. No blisters, no heels, and you can just throw them on as you're walking out the door. Finally, the odango hair is low maintenance and still cute~ If I'm running to the store or something I can pop on a ball cap and be a super comfy casual gal! Even my earrings are pearl studs to keep things simple.

Tuesday: A coord that says "spring"

It's summer here now and I'm sorry I'm so late!
But Spring always means "flowers" to me, and a light sweater plus some tights to keep me warm against the spring breeze.

Dress:
Bolero: DaTuRa
Bag: Betsey Johnson
Bag charms: Betsey Johnson, SweetHeartYun
Shoes: Shein
Acce: Gifted, Aliexpress

As much as I love summer, I miss spring fashion! The points for this super sweet spring outfit are my flower hair accessory and my bag charms

Wednesday: A coord that makes you feel cute & romantic

Cute means fluffy skirts and pigtails, plus some heart motifs for the romance!

Skirt:
Sweater: DaTuRa
Kuma Bag: Aliexpress
Shoes: Discount store
Acce: Aliexpress, Shein, YesStyle

Another colder-weather coord, but my kuma bag, shushu and moko-moko shoes add fluffy and cute touches! While pink is my go-to "romantic" color, mint is my favorite color ever and I always feel cute wearing it. My earrings and necklaces have heart details

Thursday: A coord that makes you feel badass

My best-kept secret is that I love the badass aesthetic and have quite a few punk/furyou things hidden away in my closet!

Halter top: Skinny Lip
Outer: H&M
Shorts: Francesca's
Dirty old sneaks: Ted Baker
Fishnets: YesStyle
Necklace: Shein

The black/gold combo + fishnets + distressed status of my shorts and shoes made me feel like I'm ready to pick a fight outside of a 7-11 lol. It's very different from my normal style which is more on the soft side, but I really want to dress this way more often

Friday: A coord to party hard

Fridays and parties mean it's time to get wild and be sexy!

Criss cross top: Skinny Lip
Skirt: Express
Tights and belt: Aliexpress
Shoes: Nine West

I got wild with the animal print of my top and incorporated the sexy with my pleather skirt. I kind of want to replace this one though; I'm not huge on the silhouette now that I'm seeing it. The points for this outfit are the tiny wrist purse that I can easily keep hold of when I'm out drinking, and the change of shoesIf I'm going to be dancing and drinking, I need flat shoes lol. I'm speaking from personal experience on that one.

Saturday: A coord that makes you feel like a celeb

Of course I have to bust out the Rady for this one

Hoodie: Rady
Shorts: Francesca's
Boots: H&M
Sunglasses: Rady
Hat: TJ Maxx/offbrand
Earrings: "Chanel"
Wallet: "LV"

Big sunglasses to hide from the paparazzi? Check. Flexing on the down-low with "designer" earrings and wallet? Check. Celeb status achieved?

Sunday: A coord for a family dinner

My parents are so fussy about what I wear - they're very old-fashioned and I don't want to hear them complaining about how short my skirt/dress is or that my jeans have holes in them so I know how to dress when I'm around them.

Dress: Rady
Shoes, earrings and belt: Shein
Bracelet: gifted

I chose this lovely Rady dress! The point of my outfit is the bracelet that my mom gave me She always remembers me what she gives me and it makes her happy when I wear them.

And that's everything! Sorry that I did this challenge so late lol~ But it was a lot of fun, thanks to Natsumin for putting it together!

Until next time,

-SamiiChu

Hi hi~ Tonight I was home alone so I decided to go get a few things I needed for my upcoming trip I only needed deodorant and makeup wipes ...
