Tamagotchi Wishlist

Hi hi~! 

I talked about my newly rekindled love for Tamagotchi in a recent post. I mentioned that I had my eye on a few tamas, so I wanted to share my wishlist with you! I haven't bought any yet because I've been buying up some things from my gyaru wishlist (along with plenty of impulse purchases lol)

Here are the tamas on my wishlist! Some of them are planned buys while others will probably never be anything more than a distant wish I promise this isn't going to turn into a Tamagotchi blog! Sometimes I just like sharing things that aren't specifically gyaru - and I like reading when other gals do, too!

#1: Hello Kitty Tamagotchi

This English-exclusive Tamagotchi nano is a collaboration with Hello Kitty!  I plan to buy it from my local Target once my next paycheck drops. I think I'll get the white one because I love the Hello Kitty face design

#2: Sanrio Meets

I know, I know - I already have a Sanrio mix! So why do I want a Meets? Well... the Meets has Keroppi, Badz Maru, Kuromi, and Tuxedo Sam as marriable characters! How could I not want it?

 #3: Tamagotchi P's

The P's are some of the cutest Tamagotchi to ever exist. The colors are all perfect, they come with those lovely rhinestone decos, and have interchangeable attachments that add all kinds of content depending on which attachment you plug in!

Considering that I've seen these go for anywhere from $350-$1,000 out of the box and without any attachment pieces (you have to buy the pieces separately), I'm pretty confident this one will remain a dream.

#4: Keitai Kaitsu Tamagotchi Plus "Melon Soda"

This tama - specifically this shell - is extremely popular with collectors, and for good reason. This is one of the cutest shells to ever exist, in my opinion! It's my favorite color, after all, and I love melon soda

Unfortunately, it's also much more expensive than the other Keitai Kaitsu variants, both in and out of the box, despite the fact that the connection capabilities don't even work with phones outside of Japan (and probably don't even work with modern phones anywhere, anyways). This is another one that will probably remain a dream...

  

#5: Tamagotchi 4U

This color tama from 2014 caught my attention because of the personality stages they introduced for adults, meaning that you can change their appearance depending on how you take care of them! It's also much more affordable than some of the other tamas on this list, so I might actually get this one~

#6: Tamagotchi Nano

Apparently, some Tamagotchi collectors don't like the nano versions because of their limited capabilities. I really love their simplicity and tiny size, though! The collaboration tamas on my list are also nanos, but I want one with the Tamagotchi characters, too. Specifically, I want the nano with the sakura shell It's a little pricy for what it is, though.

 #7: Tamagotchi Angel/Angelgotchi

This tama was released in 1998 and I'm wondering why my parents didn't buy it for me, lol! They bought me plenty of other tamas and v-pets/giga pets around that time. Either way, it's so cute and the focus on doing "good deeds" as a gimmick is really unique!

#8: Tamagotchi Classic, Blue Shell

I remember having this tama clear as day from my time in elementary school and I would love to own it again for the nostalgia factor! I wonder what happened to it... I can pick up this version for rather cheap and I think I'm going to order it sometime soon.

#9: Eevee x Tamagotchi 

Like most other 90's kids, I have a huge love for Pokemon. Even though Eevee isn't my absolute favorite Pokemon ever, this one is too cute to not love... Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find for sale and when you do find it, the price is really high for a nano. I probably won't buy this one unless I can find it for a reasonable price. 

#10: Gudetama Tamagotchi 

I was really close to buying this Sanrio collab nano! Gudetama is cute and apparently, to keep him alive you have to protect him from a hand that keeps trying to turn him into an egg dish! The only reason I didn't end up ordering it is because I think some of the animations are gross and a little weird I'm sorry, Gudetama lovers!

There are a ton of adorable Tamagotchi accessories out there, including handmade ones! I'm thinking about ordering a crochet case for my Tamas, but I just can't decide on which one.

Tamagotchi recently announced a collab with Star Wars for an R2D2 nano. I hope that they continue this trend of making collaboration tamas. (I know this seems to be an unpopular opinion!) It would be great if they made more Sanrio nanos, like Cinnamoroll and Badz Maru. My ultimate dream is for an Animal Crossing x Tamagotchi collab. Who knows, it may one day happen!
